Ballyowen Golf Club is an intimate, non-traditional Crystal Springs wedding experience inspired by the grand links courses of Ireland and Scotland. Set on 250 acres of rolling farmland with sweeping views across the Wallkill Valley and surrounding mountains, Ballyowen pairs a stone clubhouse and rustic reception pavilion with an outdoor Wedding Garden ceremony setting that looks straight out of the Irish countryside.
Ballyowen has one of the most consistently photogenic ceremony settings at Crystal Springs — the Wedding Garden overlooking endless fairways framed by mountain ridges. Our work here often includes live-musician fusion: acoustic guitar at the ceremony, sax-and-DJ sets through the reception, and intelligent lighting through the back half of the night. The rustic reception pavilion works beautifully with warm uplighting and bistro lighting, and the long-table dinner setups we frequently see at Ballyowen reward an entertainment design built around dinner conversation that rises naturally into a packed dance floor.
