The Resort
A Mountain Paradise
Crystal Springs Resort is one of the most breathtaking wedding destinations in the Northeast. Spanning 4,500 acres atop the Kittatinny Mountains in Sussex County, the resort features five distinct wedding venues, six championship golf courses, an award-winning spa, and farm-to-table dining that rivals Manhattan's finest restaurants. Just an hour from New York City, Crystal Springs offers a true destination wedding experience.
Few resorts in the region give couples this much room to shape an entire wedding weekend. Welcome dinners are hosted in Restaurant Latour or the Crystal Tavern, rehearsals can spill onto a private terrace overlooking the Kittatinny Ridge, and guests stay on property at Grand Cascades Lodge or Minerals Hotel without ever needing a car. Sunday morning typically ends with a brunch on the lake or a round of golf at Ballyowen or Black Bear — the kind of slow, lingering close that turns a one-night event into a memory the wedding party will be talking about for years.
Premium Entertainment has been performing at Crystal Springs for more than fifteen years, and we treat the property the way an in-house team would. We know which ballrooms hold sound and which need a tuned line array. We know which ceremony lawns get afternoon wind off the ridge and need a redundant lavalier. We know the catering captains, the floral teams, and the resort coordinators by name — and our load-in routine has been rebuilt around the resort's service corridors so the day-of staff barely notices we're there until the first dance.

Our Experience at Crystal Springs
What We Deliver
Mountain Venue Mastery
We know every room across all five Crystal Springs venues. From Grand Cascades' soaring ballroom to Sweetgrass Pavilion's open-air setting, every set is calibrated to the specific space. We measure room reverberation in advance, choose speaker placements that protect both the dance floor and the dinner conversation, and arrive with rigging plans the resort's banquet captains have already signed off on.
Production Lighting
Custom lighting architecture designed for each Crystal Springs space - from intimate clubhouse receptions to grand resort ballrooms with floor-to-ceiling windows. Our designers walk Grand Cascades, Ballyowen, and Minerals before every wedding to lock in uplight colors that complement the existing chandeliers, pin spots for cake and centerpieces, and a dance-floor wash that holds intensity without ever spilling onto the windows that frame the Kittatinny views.
Resort-Scale Coordination
With venues spread across a 4,500-acre resort, logistics matter. Our team handles load-in, setup, and transitions with the precision that Crystal Springs demands. We coordinate with the resort catering office, the on-site bridal attendants, and the AV staff at Grand Cascades and Minerals weeks in advance so the first dance, the toasts, and the cake cutting hit on a timeline your guests never see being managed.
Photo Experiences
Studio-quality booths and activations positioned to complement each venue's unique layout, from mountain terrace cocktail hours to grand ballroom receptions. Our MagicTag AI photo delivery system pushes every photo of every guest straight to their phone within minutes of being taken — particularly valuable at a destination resort wedding where families fly in from across the country and want to share the moment with relatives who couldn't make the trip.
In Their Words
Couples who celebrated
at the resort.
A few reflections from couples we had the privilege of working with across the Crystal Springs venues. Shared with permission; venues noted where the reception took place.
The Crystal Ballroom at Grand Cascades is massive, and Premium Entertainment filled it without ever overwhelming the room. The lighting wrapped the columns beautifully, the ceremony audio on the terrace was pristine, and our MC kept a 220-guest night flowing like a smaller, more intimate celebration.

Grand Cascades Lodge — Crystal Springs Resort
Ballyowen's clubhouse has so much character, and the team matched it perfectly. Sunset cocktails on the patio with the right music, then a seamless transition into the ballroom — every detail felt intentional. Our dance floor was packed from the first song to the last.

Ballyowen Golf Club — Crystal Springs Resort
Our reception at Minerals felt completely curated to us. Premium Entertainment understood the room, designed lighting that warmed the whole space, and read the crowd all night long. Guests are still telling us it was the best wedding they've been to.

Frequently Asked
Crystal Springs Wedding DJ FAQs
- Do you cover all five Crystal Springs Resort venues?
- Yes. We perform across Grand Cascades Lodge, Ballyowen Golf Club, Black Bear Golf Club, Minerals Hotel and Spa, and Sweetgrass Pavilion. Each space has its own acoustic and lighting needs and we configure the setup specifically for the room.
- Do you provide ceremony audio at Crystal Springs?
- Yes. Whether your ceremony is on the Kittatinny Ridge, in Ballyowen's Wedding Garden, in Black Bear's wedding garden, or under Sweetgrass Pavilion, we bring a dedicated ceremony system with a wireless lapel for the officiant, optional lapels for the couple, prelude music, and processional cueing.
- How many guests can Crystal Springs venues accommodate?
- Capacity ranges by venue. Grand Cascades Lodge handles up to 350 guests across its ballroom and pavilion, Ballyowen hosts up to 150 and Black Bear up to 185, Minerals Hotel scales for both intimate and larger events, and Sweetgrass Pavilion accommodates outdoor receptions. Our sound and lighting design scales with guest count.
- Are you a preferred vendor at Crystal Springs Resort?
- Premium Entertainment is a long-standing and trusted wedding entertainment partner at Crystal Springs, working regularly with the resort's planning team across all five venues. Many couples are introduced to us by the venue coordinators.
- Can you handle outdoor mountain ceremonies in any weather?
- Yes. Our team brings weather-rated equipment, rain backups, and coordinates with the resort's contingency plans. We also bring full backup audio gear on site so the music never stops if a piece of equipment has a problem.
- How far in advance should we book a Crystal Springs wedding DJ?
- Saturday peak season dates at Crystal Springs book out 12 to 18 months in advance. Friday and Sunday dates and off-peak weekends can be more flexible. Reach out as early as possible to lock in your preferred date and team.
